Classic Vermouth style herbs, any wine is suitable for the production of vermouth but ones that are fairly neutral in flavour are best.

Add about 1?2 teaspoon of the powder to the bottle of wine, and mix well each day for about 7 days or until the flavour is sufficient and then strain off the deposit and filter.

Use brewers caramel to change colour if needed.
